He was Captain Puget, host for Exploration Northwest, and a veteran radio and television writer and narrator that had a broadcast career that spanned 50 years. He was Don McCune, and from 1960 to 1981 he hosted Exploration Northwest and wrote and narrated over 400 episodes of the series that was shown on KOMO TV and earned 26 Emmy Awards for broadcast excellence. I met Don's wife Linda, and we discussed his life and how she continues to bring his work to generations of today!
